The elementary school children in San Miguel, Mexico planted 76 fruit trees in efforts to reforest their land, conserve soil, practice organic farming and reap the financial and nutritional benefits of the oranges, peaches and mandarins. These children are learning the importance of trees hands-on, being involved in soil preparation and transplanting. With this opportunity, the school children can watch the trees and their community grow as the “seeds of transformation” have been sown.
