Balbino lives in the community of La Esperanza and serves as a production coordinator, working with other producers in the community to help with organization, productivity and marketing. Over the years working with Agros, Balbino has received countless hours of training from Agros agriculture technicians, empowering him to diversify his crops and earn an increased income. With the valuable hands-on experience and practical training from Agros staff, not only has Balbino improved his economic situation, he in turn shares this information and expertise with less experienced families through orientation and collaboration in a variety of farm activities. Balbino is gaining respect as a community leader not only in La Esperanza, but also in the neighboring community of San Diego.
